Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
For us to truly understand and appreciate Christ’s sacrifice, we must grasp the depth of our sinfulness.

In a world desperately searching for answers, we believe that Christ and His Word are the ultimate source for lasting hope.
Our central purpose is very clear… to display the glory of God. From our corporate worship, to our outreach, to our men and women’s gatherings, to our family ministry, Jesus Christ is our greatest treasure that we desire to delight in and make known.
It’s all about Him!

As a church we desire to be directly involved in what God is doing in establishing the church around the world.
Because of that, each summer we send Short Term Teams that work alongside missionaries we support to minister the Gospel through the church.
See the opportunities the Lord has provided for serving on Short Term Teams this year!

Support Missions with the click of a button
Would you like to help raise money to support the proclamation of the Gospel around the world...by simply clicking a button? What if you could give money to help translate the Bible, broadcast the Gospel message in the 10/40 window, support missionaries, purchase Bibles, and train indigenous missionaries – everyday, for FREE! Would you do it?
Mark Baker from COHBC, has started a website ( www.gospelforth.com) where you visit to view Christian advertisers. Just by your viewing the advertisements(about 30 seconds with no obligation at all), organizations donate a set amount towards certain missionaries/gospel oriented efforts. I do this daily and it is very easy. I have attached a letter from Mark that explains this more clearly or you can go to the Gospel Forth website. more info...

If you are college aged, you are invited to our COHBC college ministry this Thursday evening, at 6pm at the DeLateur home ( 3005 W Holyoke Ave ). The College Ministry meets every Thursday at the same time and location.
Please join us for dinner, Bible study, time of prayer, fun and fellowship. If you have any questions, please call Bob at 270-3961. If you are reaching out to someone that is College aged, invite them to our College Ministry.
Youth Encouragement Nights
On Friday evenings, we will be providing an every other week opportunity for the youth (Jr. High--High School) of COHBC to get together to be encouraged in their walks with Christ.
Although parents have the primary role in mentoring their teens, the Body of Christ should also come alongside and minister to our youth. This can also be a good opportunity for teens to be praying for and inviting their friends that don’t know Christ yet.
We will be working through Colossians in our time in Scripture. Please consider your family schedule and determine if this youth ministry would be an encouragement to the young people in your home.
Our Youth Encouragement nights are located at our home (2718 S Manito Blvd) at 7 pm. For questions, please email me at JSmith@cohbc.org or call at (509) 747-8584.
